Transport Facilities at Sethu
Institute of Technology:
A fully fledged
Transport department functions in the college to provide transport facility to
students and staff from various places. This service is offered ensuring a
hassle-free and safe transportation. The College runs 45 buses for providing
transport facility to students from various places in and around Virudhunagar District.
College buses provide convenient and comfortable travel, which helps students
to reach home early and safe.
Hostel Facilities at
Sethu Institute of Technology:
Accommodation facilities are available for both Boys &
Girls with optional (not compulsory). This institute provides both Veg/Non
veg types of mess. Mess bill may consume approx
Rs.2300/month. Additionally the room rent and electricity
charges may take up to Rs.1500/month.
Sethu Institute of Technology Class Room Infrastructure:
v To an added advantage, this college provides a good
internet facility all around the campus for student’s hazel free
internet access to develop their knowledge around the world.
v A Smart Classroom is the ultimate self-service presenter-friendly
environment conducive to the teaching / learning process. All the classrooms
are “smart,” with high-speed data networks and LCD projectors for audio and
video.

Technology Training and Campus Placements Details:
v The institute has provided complete infrastructure for effective
functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year
in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus
selection programs.
v The College has its own Training & Placement cell. It
facilitates the students of the engineering & management
grades of the college for the placements in various national and international
organizations in the corporate world, Public Sector Undertakings etc. through
campus selection process.
Library facilities at Sethu Institute of Technology:
v The College also offered a Hi-Fi library facility all their
students to access the books to develop their sound knowledge in all their dailies,
journals, extra-curricular, and subjective as well.
