Tamilnadu has
plenty of Engineering Aspirants in India and definitely this state has plethora
of colleges as well. There are two kinds of admissions available for the
Engineering Colleges, one is through TNEA and the rest is through the Lateral
Entry Scheme indeed. Every year, there are respectable number of admissions are
happening across Tamilnadu Engineering Colleges under the Lateral Entry
Counseling facility.
The TNLEA stands
for Tamilnadu Lateral Entry Admission Counseling, which is exclusively
conducted for the benefit of candidates from the Diploma/Polytechnic colleges
to get into Engineering (BE/BTech) courses in Tamilnadu.
Every year the
TNLEA Admission applications will be issued from any of the reputed colleges in
Tamilnadu, which will also be the hosting for the counseling indeed.

According to the
official news by the regulatory authority for the TNLEA 2016, this year BE
BTech Lateral Entry Admission Applications will be available at the Alagapa
Chettiyar College of Engineering and Technology.

Applications can
be made online for B.E./B.Tech degree courses under the lateral entry scheme
for seats to government, and aided engineering colleges, Anna University’s
constituent colleges and seats surrendered by self-financing colleges for the
2016-17 academic year.
Important Dates for TNLEA 2016:
- Activation of Online Application starts by May 24th 2016.
- Last date for the reception of TNLEA 2016 Online Application ends by 10th June 2016.

- Application are invited only through online mode up to 5.00 PM on or before 10-06-2016 for Admission to Second Year B.E/B.TECH Degree Courses 2016-2017.

How to Apply for TNLEA 2016:
As said earlier,
only the Online Application mode is encouraged for the TNLEA 2016 and you have
to submit the online application printout to the respective center through
post.
